Your Born day!

Dear Baby Wesley,

Today is your born day! Welcome to this world, baby! Finally you are out! Mommy and Daddy came to Matilda hospital in the morning around 9.30am to settle the hospital administration stuff and Mommy quickly went to room 312B to start the surgery preparation. Ama, Akung, and Akiu Roy are here in HK too to witness your born day. You must be happy that many people come to welcome you to this earth ;)

Inside the operation room, the slow music was already on, the room temperature was just nice. Some doctors welcomed us with big smiles. Mommy felt so happy and warm. Daddy accompanied Mommy during the operation, hold Mommy's hand until you're out. At 11.16am you were finally out from Mommy's tummy! Mommy's tears went down because of happiness when Mommy heard your crying. After the doctor cut your cord, you were brought to your cot to get cleaned. Daddy quickly came to you, Mommy really wanted to come to you and hold you tight and kiss you but Mommy could not since the doctor still needed to close Mommy's tummy. Mommy kept asking Daddy "How does Wesley look like? Is he normal? Is everything okay?" Daddy said from far "Yes, he is fine. He is still so white so can't see how he looks like". Ohhh.. Mommy couldn't wait! Couldn't wait! And 5 minutes after that, the nurse brought you to Mommy's arm, finally Mommy could see you, baby. Mommy was so nervous, Mommy couldn't believe that you were the baby that Mommy always brought around inside tummy. You are so cute, fair-skinned, small, so pure, so fragile. We named you Wesley Jenssen Dharma(黄玉偉). Your weight is 3.26kg, your height is 49cm.

We stayed in hospital for 5 nights and now it's time to go home, baby! These pictures were taken in the morning before we went home.

11th Ultrasound - 37 Weeks

Dear my baby boy,
This is your last check-up when you are still in Mommy's womb. You are now 37 weeks. Your head's diameter is 8.97cm, your stomach's diameter is 31.84cm, and your leg is now 7.26cm. Everything is good and you are ready to come out in 4 days! The doctor asked Mommy to come to hospital on 22 Feb at 9am to start the preparation of the surgery. Mommy can't wait to see you!! :D

10th Ultrasound - 36 Weeks

Dear my baby,

This is your picture when you are 36 weeks in Mommy's womb. Your nose is high, your forehead is big too, can you see that, baby? Mommy can't wait to see your real face!

Your head's diameter is now 8.82cm, your stomach's diameter is 32.67cm, your leg is 6.87cm. Your weight is now 2.888kg. You are getting bigger and heavier! You have increased more than 600grams over 11 days. Wow! Now your weight is back on track again. Mommy's fats finally go to you. Good job, baby! ;D Now Mommy feels relieved that your weight is nearing 3kg. There are only 10 days left to your birth day. What do you feel, baby?


Stay healthy and fit, baby! The time is almost up, hang in there! ^^

9th Ultrasound - 35 Weeks

Dear my lovely baby,
This is the first time Mommy went to see doctor without your Daddy because Daddy went to Korea for business trip. Thanks God everything is good, you are now 35 weeks, you are so healthy. Your weight now is 2.243kg, your head's diameter is 8.61cm, your tummy is 28.27cm, and your leg is 6.53cm. Doctor said everything is good but Mommy is worried about your weight, it is slightly below average. Mommy is already so fat, how can you be so thin, baby? Your due date is in 3 weeks, now Mommy eats more protein and more food for you, please absorb the fat as much as you can so you can be more than 3kg when you are born, baby.

Please continue growing healthily, hang on there, only 3 weeks to your birthday. How do you feel, baby? Are you ready to see the world?

We need to go back to see doctor again in 10 days. Mommy will see you again soon. ^^
