First trip to Indonesia

First playgroup in Baby Buddies

1st Birthday

Dear Wesley,

You had your first birthday in Kiddy Village, we invited many friends to play and you received many presents too. You liked baby TV and Tullie Snail at that time so Mommy ordered Baby TV cake for you. 

Your caretaker "ente" blew lotsss of balloons using her mouth on your birthday early in the morning to give you big surprise! Sadly daddy asked us to flat all the balloons at night when he came home because our house was so full of balloons. Poor ente! ;)

Wesley is in K1 now!

Dear baby,

It has been more than 3 years since Mommy wrote diary for you. Time flies really fast! Mommy is so sorry that Mommy was too busy working and taking care of you till Mommy forgot about this diary. 

You are now 3 years and 11 months now. Next month you will be 4 years old. Many sweet things happened during these 3 years of course! You have been going to playgroup since you were 12months old. You have been attending class by yourself without crying and without mommy when you were 20 months old. You have been taking school bus by yourself since you were 3 years old. You are very independent boy, baby. Mommy is so proud of you. 

Slowly Mommy will post your photos during these 3 years. I know it's late but it's better late than never right? :)

Your First Teeth

Dear Wesley,

You have two teeth at the bottom now, baby! This is your picture showing off your new teeth. Your gum seems itchy, you like chewing whatever object near you. Your thumb and your pointer fingers are hurt because you like biting your own fingers.

Mommy already bought a teether for you but you don't like it, you still prefer you own fingers. Mommy few times put Mommy's fingers into your mouth, you bite it so hard, no wonder you hurt your own fingers, baby! Mommy wants to help you but Mommy doesn't know what Mommy should do to comfort your gum. Tomorrow Mommy will buy a snack stick for you, hope you will like it, ok?

7 Months Old

Dear Wesley,

You are now 7 months old, baby. Mommy just brought you to the clinic to get your weight taken. You are now 9.25kg and 67cm tall. You can sit straight without support, but not too long :) You are sticky to Mommy now, whenever you see Mommy, you put your both hands in front, you are expecting Mommy to carry and hug you. Mommy loves you so much, dear!

6 Months Old

Dear Wesley,

Today you are exactly 6 months old. You are getting cuter every day. You like laughing, eating, drinking, and sleeping. Your laughs really make Mommy's day. You can eat solid food really well now. You can eat banana, apple, orange, green beans, potato, carrot, broccoli, pumpkin, rice, and chicken meat. You are now 8.84kg and 74cm tall. Your weight is down by 200grams since last month. Mommy is quite worried because your weight is down, is your diet program too strict, baby? Your milk intake is not as much as before, because you already eat solids now. It seems that you enjoy eating more than drinking now.

You can sit straight without support for few seconds now. You like watching baby TV so much since you're 3 months old. When you watch the shows, you look so serious like listening to lectures. You must be like Daddy who likes learning and knowing new things. You have to be smart like Daddy, ok baby? Oh no, you have to be smarter than Daddy! ^^

You're almost 4 months old now, You can hold your own bottle! Well, it's only when you're so hungry but Mommy considers this as one of your achievements hehehe...

First Solids

Dear Wesley,

You started to eat mashed banana when you're 3.5 months old. Actually you're still too young to start eating solids, but you are over weight now. You drink a lot, seems that you're not satisfied by drinking milk only. And Mommy hopes when you start eating, your milk intake will be lesser.

Mommy was surprised that you're so ready to eat now. Your tongue can push the food in, you lips can receive the food well too. Your neck is strong enough to sit by yourself. But unfortunately, Mommy has not bought high chair for you so your nanny carried you on her laps while feeding you. Anyway, you like banana so much! You open your mouth when the spoon comes, what a smart baby! You screamed if Mommy was too slow feeding you, you wanted to finish your meal quickly. Mommy is really proud of you, Wesley! :)

Scrapbook Safe Box

Dear Wesley,

Today your Oma came to HK. Oma saw you for the first time, Oma likes you a lot, baby. Oma came because Mommy and Daddy are going to Sydney, Australia, for 2 weeks. This will be the first time Mommy being apart from you, Mommy will miss you so so so much, my baby. :(

Anyway, Oma brought scrapbook safe box, created by your auntie in Solo. It's very nice! Mommy loves it so much! At the display, there are your photos when you're born and some accessories that Mommy still keeps during our stay in hospital. At the back of the frame, Mommy can keep anything that Mommy wants to keep; such as your first hair, your belly button, etc. Sweet, isn't it? ^^
